Legrand Care participated in the international event Adinberri Silver Forum 2023

Unveiling innovations and shaping the silver economy landscape.

The Assisted Living technology of Legrand Care was showcased at the Adinberri Silver Forum, the first international forum on the Silver Economy in the Basque Country. The forum focused on strategically contributing to the innovative study and approach to the longevity revolution, addressing the challenges and opportunities it represents, all from a socio-health and economic perspective.

The event brought together prominent professionals in the sector for a congress featuring internationally renowned speakers and a fair that included 40 companies, Legrand Care among them, where the latest innovations in the Silver Economy were exhibited.

Additionally, the event featured demo workshops to showcase the most cutting-edge technologies in the socio-health sector in a living lab environment where Legrand Care deployed its solutions NOVO and NOVO Go.

In this space, Serafín Quintanilla, Senior Product Manager, Independent Living at Legrand Care, delivered an insightful presentation on NOVO Go. He explained to attendees what NOVO Go is, its differentiating advantages, and its technical features. He also discussed Legrand Care's IoT system and presented three use cases of NOVO Go.

It is noteworthy that the living lab was one of the most successful activities, reaching full capacity with enthusiastic participation.

During this forum, more than 500 one-to-one meetings between supply and demand took place. Legrand Care participated in several of these meetings, seizing the opportunity to present its solutions in a more intimate, direct, and effective format.

The event had more than 900 attendees on November 8 and 9 at the Kursaal Congress Palace in San Sebastian, Basque Country. A total of 22 presentations and 6 roundtable discussions took place. According to organizers' data, 39% of attendees belonged to the socio-health sector, 22% were knowledge agents such as technological and educational centres, 19% represented public administrations, 13% the Third Sector, and 7% from the financial sector.

Maite Peña, Deputy for Social Policies at the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, also attended the event and emphasized that "the challenge of aging, besides being broad and complex, affects society in one way or another. It is essential to involve not only the professional sphere but also the elderly themselves, their families, and the community as a whole.
