Grupo Neat is awarded with the Senda Award 2014

Grupo Neat was distinguished by the Senda Awards 2014, in its fifth edition, for responding with flying colors in the category of Outstanding Company in the social-health category.

The SENDA Awards aim to promote the participation of the senior collective in society, as well as to recognize the work of institutions, companies and professionals who strive to improve the quality of life of the elderly and promote personal autonomy and active aging.

The 2014 SENDA Awards were presented on June 26, at 6 p.m., at the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality. More than 200 representatives of the senior collective, as well as entrepreneurs and professionals in the field of elderly care and those responsible for Social Policy of the Public Administration gathered there.

The jury of the SENDA Awards also agreed to give this year's special awards to the veteran radio journalist Luis del Olmo, Senior of the Year Award, and to the businessman Higinio Raventós, Socio-sanitary Honorary Award.

Grupo SENDA is a media platform specialized in information for senior citizens. It publishes the monthly magazine Senda SENIOR, and the newspaper BALANCE de la Dependencia. It also produces the radio program Palabras Mayores.
